Partnerships & Awards
Partnerships are vital to our work at Special Needs Cobb as we would be unable to sustain our 23 group homes without community engagement. We are blessed with excellent partners who have come to our rescue in many ways. Our partners enhance our impact, broaden our reach, provide expertise and funding enabling us to fulfill our mission of housing special needs adults for life. We are grateful.
Special Needs Cobb was honored to attend Cobb Community Foundation’s Activate Good event on May 1 at The Foxglove in Marietta. The evening brought together nonprofit leaders, community partners, and changemakers from across Cobb County to celebrate collaboration, connection, and community impact.
Our CEO, Debbie Day, Board President Emeritus, Kay Hiott, and board member, Frances Roberson represented SNC at this inspiring event. In a fun surprise, Debbie won the evening’s Scavenger Hunt, earning a $1,000 contribution to Special Needs Cobb. From engaging conversations to uplifting remarks from community leaders, Activate Good truly reflected the spirit of unity that defines CCF’s mission. We’re grateful to be part of such a dynamic, supportive network working together to build a stronger Cobb County.
